Heinz Top This TV Challenge, “Embarrassing Dinner Sound”

Heinz posts their first ever “Top This TV Challenge” on YouTube. Director D. R. Hirschberg with assistance from his sister Christina Azbill stood up to the plate for Heinz TV commercial challenge. Utilizing family members as the guests (Ryan and Stephanie Porras) whose visit for a dinner invitation goes wrong when a certain sound is heard at the table.

Synopsis:
Dinner guest asks for ketchup but can’t get any out due to empty bottle. Squirt sound embarrasses host but guest clears things by telling guest Heinz ketchup bottle is out. Slogan goes “Heinz 57, Don’t Be Caught Without It”.

Screenplay:
Phone: (Phone rings).
Anna: Hello
Suzan/Bob: (Guests announce their arrival).
Anna: Oh, well your almost here. Okay great, we have everything ready.
Everyone: (Begin to sit at dinner table after their arrival).
Suzan: Everything looks great.
Bob: Would you happen to have any Ketchup?
Ed: Yeah, is Heinz okay?
Bob: That would be perfect.
Ed: (Returns with Heinz).
Ed: (Asks Suzie) Can I get you another glass?
Suzan: Yes please.
Ed: (Turns to return to kitchen).
Sound: (Fart sound).
Ed: (Close-up facial expression of embarrassment)
Bob: (Shouts) Your out.
Announcer: Heinz 57. Don’t be caught without it.
